RutzLimo.com covers 107 countries through a network: its own fleet in its home markets and, everywhere else, affiliate operators listed on the LimousineWorldwide.Directory and vetted against the standards of the Limousine Association International on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct. Every reservation is made on RutzLimo.com's engine, to RutzLimo.com's specification and fare, under RutzLimo.com's responsibility, whoever drives it. This page explains how the vetting, the monitoring and the escalation work.
Why a network, and why say so
No chauffeur company owns a fleet in 107 countries. Companies that claim global coverage are describing affiliates, and the only question that matters is how those affiliates are chosen and controlled. RutzLimo.com says so plainly because a client is entitled to know, and because the mechanism - a public directory, an association with published standards, a single reservation engine - is the reason the service is consistent rather than a reason to doubt it.
Selection
An operator is considered for the network when it is listed on the LimousineWorldwide.Directory, the worldwide directory of limousine, black car and chauffeur operators, and has applied to the Limousine Association International. The association's vetting covers the operator's licence to carry passengers for hire in its jurisdiction; commercial passenger insurance at the limits the jurisdiction and the association require; vehicle age, presentation and inspection records; chauffeur licensing, background and driving-record checks; and conduct standards - dress, etiquette, confidentiality. Operators that pass are eligible to fulfil RutzLimo.com reservations in their city; operators that do not are not, however good their website.
Specification
Every reservation that reaches an affiliate carries RutzLimo.com's specification: the vehicle class from the fleet guide, the pickup procedure from the airport rules, the waiting allowance, the passenger's profile and standing instructions, and the fare. The operator accepts the job on those terms or declines it. The passenger's experience - the class of car, the door the chauffeur waits at, the water in the cabin, the receipt - is RutzLimo.com's, not the affiliate's.
Monitoring
Every passenger is invited to rate the journey after the receipt, and every rating is read by dispatch. Operators are reviewed on ratings, on-time performance, vehicle presentation and complaint handling; two substandard journeys in a city trigger a review, and a review that does not resolve triggers replacement. Corporate clients receive their programme's on-time and rating figures with the monthly report on request.
Escalation
A dispatcher who can reach the chauffeur is awake in every time zone, and a problem in one city at 3 a.m. in another is handled where it is happening. The passenger has one number, on every confirmation, and the terms set out the compensation where the service falls short.
