The RutzLimo.com travel desk is our partnership with BookingWorldwide.net, the booking engine for flights, hotels, resorts, activities, holiday packages and car rental. Search the desk on this page, complete the booking on BookingWorldwide.net, and book the chauffeur at each end on RutzLimo.com - so the arrival transfer, the hotel and the flight home are one plan rather than three. Search the desk below or book the chauffeur first.
Why a chauffeur company runs a travel desk
Almost every journey we drive is part of a trip we did not book: a flight, a hotel, a ship, a resort. The chauffeur is the first and last thing the traveller sees, and the parts in between are booked somewhere else, often on three different sites, with the ground transport an afterthought at the end. The travel desk closes that gap. It does not turn RutzLimo.com into a travel agency - the bookings complete on BookingWorldwide.net, on that site's terms and with that site's support - but it puts the search on the same page as the chauffeur, so that the trip is planned as one thing.
For a business traveller that means the flight, the hotel near the office and the chauffeur at both ends in one sitting. For a family it means the resort, the flights, the SUV with the child seats at the airport and the chauffeur for the day out. For a cruise passenger it means the flight in the day before, the hotel near the port, the transfer to the pier and the flight home from the disembarkation city. For a couple marrying abroad it means the guests' flights and rooms alongside the wedding cars.

BookingWorldwide.net carries deep-linked destination pages for 99 cities and regions; when you type one of them into the desk, the search lands on that destination's page directly, with hotels, flights and activities for it already filtered. The engine behind BookingWorldwide.net follows the same IATA airport codes and the same hotel-industry conventions any travel site does, so the confirmation you receive is a normal one.

Planning a business trip on the desk
The pattern that works: book the flights first, because the chauffeur reservations need the flight numbers; then the hotel, because the chauffeur needs the address; then the airport transfers at both ends and any hourly days in between on the RutzLimo.com engine, on a corporate account if the organisation has one. Travel managers who run their programme through a corporate booking tool can still use the desk for the ground element and for the trips the tool does not cover well - a delegation, an event, an executive's family joining a trip.
Planning a holiday on the desk
Families and couples usually begin with the resort or the city and work outward: the resort on the Resorts tab, the flights, the activities for the days that need them, and then the chauffeur - an executive SUV at the airport with the child seats fitted, a chauffeur by the hour for the day of sightseeing, the transfer back. The destinations page lists every city and country where the chauffeur can be booked, and most of them are on BookingWorldwide.net's destination pages too.
Cruises, weddings and events
The cruise passenger's plan is the one the desk was made for: flight in the day before, hotel near the port, transfer to the pier, and after the cruise the transfer to the airport or a further stay, all in one sitting, with the cruise port transfers page explaining the timing. Couples marrying abroad book the guests' flights and rooms on the desk and the transport with the wedding desk. Event organisers book the block, the speakers' flights and the sponsors' suites on the desk alongside the ground plan from the event desk, so the arrivals sheet and the room list are the same list.
Car rental, and when to choose it over a chauffeur
There are days when a chauffeur is not the answer: a fortnight at a villa with a supermarket run every morning, a road trip through a national park, a week in a region where a car is simply how you get around. The Car rentals tab finds self-drive hire for those days, and the sensible plan is often both: a chauffeur for the airport at each end and the long transfer, a hire car for the villa week. The chauffeur cost guide helps with the arithmetic.
The network behind the desk
BookingWorldwide.net is one of the portfolio of travel and hospitality properties that RutzLimo.com belongs to, alongside the LimousineWorldwide.Directory and the Limousine Association International that vet our chauffeurs, HotelsWorldwide.Directory and VacationsWorldwide.Directory. The network page explains how the properties fit together and what each one is for; for the traveller the practical point is that the chauffeur, the hotel and the flight are being arranged by organisations that already work together, and that a problem with one can be raised with the other.
Support and terms
Bookings made through BookingWorldwide.net are supported by BookingWorldwide.net under its terms; chauffeur reservations are supported by RutzLimo.com dispatch under our terms, 24 hours a day. If a flight booked on the desk changes, tell dispatch and the chauffeur reservation moves with it; if a chauffeur reservation is affected by a hotel change, the same. The two teams talk to each other, which is the point of the partnership.
Three trips, planned end to end on the desk
A week of meetings in London and Frankfurt. Flights Toronto to London, London to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Toronto on the Flights tab; a hotel in Mayfair and one near the Messe on the Stays tab; then on the RutzLimo.com engine, home to Pearson, Heathrow to Mayfair with a meet-and-greet, an hourly chauffeur for the London day, Mayfair to Heathrow, Frankfurt airport to the hotel, a private chauffeur for the two Frankfurt days, the hotel to the airport, and Pearson to home. Eight chauffeur legs on one reservation on the corporate account, fixed in Canadian dollars; the flights and hotels invoiced by BookingWorldwide.net.
A fortnight in Bali with the children. The resort on the Resorts tab; flights on the Flights tab; a snorkelling day and a temple visit on the Activities tab; then an executive SUV at Denpasar with two child seats fitted, a chauffeur by the hour for a day on the island, and the return transfer. One family, one plan.
A Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona. Flights in two days early and home from Rome; a hotel near the port in Barcelona and one in Rome; the transfer from the airport to the hotel, the hotel to the Moll Adossat terminal on embarkation morning, and after the cruise the transfer from Civitavecchia to the Rome hotel, an hourly day for the city, and the hotel to Fiumicino. Every transfer flight- or ship-tracked.
Using the desk with a corporate booking tool
Many organisations must book air and hotel through a managed tool for policy and reporting reasons, and the desk does not replace it. What the desk adds is the ground element on the same page, and coverage for the trips a tool handles badly: an executive's family joining a trip, a delegation of guests who are not employees, an event's speakers, a client's visit. The chauffeur reservations sit on the corporate account and the invoice regardless of where the air and hotel were booked.
Destinations with deep links
BookingWorldwide.net's 99 destination pages cover the cities and regions travellers search most - the gateway cities on the destinations page, the resort regions of the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia, the ski regions of North America and the Alps, and the cruise ports. Typing one of them into the Stays, Packages or Activities tab lands on that page directly. For anywhere else, the search runs normally on the engine.
Getting help with a plan
For a trip with more than a few moving parts - a delegation, a wedding abroad, a family reunion across two countries, a cruise with pre- and post-stays for a group - the desk's search is a starting point and dispatch is the finish. Send the outline through the contact page or by WhatsApp; dispatch confirms the chauffeur plan, points you to the right BookingWorldwide.net pages for the rest, and, where the trip is on a corporate account, coordinates with the account manager so the invoice and the itinerary match. The global chauffeur service page describes how a multi-city plan comes back, and the airport page lists the gateways with terminal data pre-loaded.
Why BookingWorldwide.net
BookingWorldwide.net is a sister property, which is the reason the desk exists on this site rather than a link to a large online travel agency. The two teams share an understanding of what a chauffeured traveller needs - a hotel near the port, not the cheapest one across the city; a flight whose arrival time leaves a sensible margin; a resort where the SUV can reach the door - and they talk to each other when a plan changes. The engine's coverage of flights, hotels and resorts is comparable with the large agencies'; the difference is the ground transport being part of the conversation.
Currencies, payment and confirmations
The desk searches in the currency you select and BookingWorldwide.net completes the booking in that currency on its payment terms; chauffeur reservations are charged on the RutzLimo.com engine in the currency you select there, and corporate accounts are invoiced monthly. Confirmations for the two arrive separately - BookingWorldwide.net's for the flights, hotels and activities, RutzLimo.com's for each chauffeur leg - and the sensible habit is to forward the flight confirmation to dispatch so that the flight numbers are on the chauffeur reservations before the day. The chauffeur legs then track the flights automatically.
The desk and the engine are on every page of this site, so the plan can start wherever the traveller starts - with the flight, the resort, the ship or the chauffeur - and end with all four on one itinerary. That is the whole idea of the travel desk, and it is the reason the chauffeur company and the booking engine belong to the same portfolio.
A note on hotels near airports and ports
Two kinds of hotel come up constantly in chauffeured travel and are worth searching deliberately on the Stays tab: the airport hotel for the night before a dawn departure or after a midnight arrival, where the chauffeur's transfer is a five-minute hop and the sleep is the point; and the port hotel for the night before embarkation, where the walk or the short transfer to the terminal removes the only real risk in a cruise holiday. The desk finds both by city and airport code, and dispatch knows which ones have the easiest forecourts for a chauffeured pickup.
Book the chauffeur at both ends - then search the desk for the rest
